This option is pretty straight forward. With the help of Spoonful, YOU select the style of invitation and paper choices, put your own spin on your invitations, print, cut and assemble however you desire.

Why is this the most cost effective option?

Well, when choosing a stationer, you are paying not only for the cost of supplies and the design, you are primarily paying for TIME. You've probably heard the old saying "Time is money" and when it comes to paper, that certainly applies. The more time a stationer has to spend designing, printing, cutting and assembling your invitations, the higher the price. With this option, the only cost to you, is the cost of the paper (shipping charges vary)

Do you have to be a designer to create your own invitations?

Not really! With the magic of the Internet, there are MANY available resources out there with free graphics, dingbats and fonts all ripe for the pickin'! As long as you do your research, there isn't any reason one couldn't create their own invitations. {Please note that it does help to have a design program.}
If you're not really up to designing your invitations but wouldn't mind assembling printing, cutting and assembling them, Spoonful has options available for purchase in our Self-Serve section.


How do I get started?


There are literally hundreds of combinations of paper choices available. Due to that, quotes for the DIY option are based upon your personal selections after having a one on one consult (via phone, email or in person).
